Welcome to MTC Auto Shine (Trading as a Sole Trader under the name of ‘Max Thomas Albert Clark’). By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully before engaging our services.

 

1. Services Provided

MTC Auto Shine offers a wide range of professional vehicle detailing services, including:

• Exterior washing, waxing, and polishing

• Interior vacuuming, shampooing, and deep cleaning

• Paint correction and ceramic coating

• Engine bay cleaning

• Headlight restoration

• Mobile detailing services (where available)

We may change or discontinue services or features at any time, without prior notice or liability. We may also impose limits on services or suspend access temporarily or permanently, with or without cause or notice.

Pricing and Payment

• Pricing: All prices for services and products are listed on our website and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors that may occur.

• Sales Tax: Prices may be subject to applicable sales tax. More information is available on our payments page.

• Payment: Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed. We accept Bank payment, Bank transfer and Cash.

Booking, Cancellation, and Refunds

• Booking: Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our booking system, phone, or in person.

• Cancellation: Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours’ notice for a full refund.Cancellations within 48 hour may be subject to forfeiting a £20 cancellation fee. Cancellation’s within 24 hours may be charged the full value of the service. 

• No-shows: Will be charged the full service amount.

 

Refund Policy

 

Refunds are issued only under the following circumstances:

• The service was not delivered as described in the agreed scope.

• A technical error on our part prevented service delivery.

• Cancellation occurred within the 24-hour window stated above.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Partially used or completed services.

• Dissatisfaction based solely on subjective expectations.

• Cancellations made after the allowed time frame.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Remove all personal items and valuables before the appointment.

• Ensure vehicle is accessible and legally parked for mobile services.

• Notify us of sensitive components, custom modifications, or issues in advance.

We are not liable for damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

5. Insurance Coverage

MTC Auto Shine is fully insured for professional vehicle detailing services. This includes interior and exterior cleaning, paint correction, ceramic coatings, engine bay cleaning, and cosmetic vehicle treatments.

5.1 Detailing Services Insurance

We maintain a valid insurance policy covering accidental damage to vehicles in our care, including at our facility or at mobile locations.

Coverage Limit: Up to £10 million.

5.2 Public Liability Insurance

We hold public liability insurance covering third-party injury or property damage caused by our operations.

Coverage Limit: Up to £10 million.

5.3 Proof of Insurance

Clients may request proof of our insurance at any time. A certificate or summary will be provided upon request.

5.4 Insurance Exclusions

Our insurance does not cover:

• Pre-existing damage or vehicle defects

• Issues caused by client-supplied products or instructions

• Personal belongings left inside the vehicle

• Interference by the client during service

Clients are responsible for clearing the vehicle of all personal items prior to service.

5.5 Client Acknowledgment

By booking our services, you acknowledge that:

• We are insured to the levels outlined above.

• You understand the scope and limitations of this coverage.

• Any disputes or claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of service completion.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied, contact us within 24 hours. We’ll review the case and, where appropriate, offer a re-clean or refund as per our refund policy.

Weather Policy (Mobile Services)

In case of poor weather, mobile services may be postponed. We’ll notify you promptly and reschedule at your convenience.

8. Changes to Terms

MTC Auto Shine reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and become effective immediately upon publication.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of in the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved according to the legal regulations of that jurisdiction.
